Name
termux — a Linux terminal for Android. Install via F-Droid — the Play Store version is outdated and unsupported.
Steps
1.Get F-Droid — the open-source app store used to install Termux.
Visit f-droid.org, download the APK, and install it. When prompted, allow installs from unknown sources.
2.Install Termux — open F-Droid, search for Termux, and tap Install. On first launch it will download a small base system — wait for it to finish.
3.Install Termux:API — back in F-Droid, search for Termux:API and install it too. This lets Termux access Android features like the clipboard, camera, and notifications.
4.Come back here, open Termux, and paste the command below. That's it.
# note: Run pkg upgrade inside Termux any time you want to update.
